Little Shop of Horrors
One of the longest-running Off-Broadway shows of all time and cult classic film, Little Shop of Horrors follows the life of a down-and out skid row floral assistant who becomes
an overnight sensation when he discovers an exotic plant with a mysterious craving for fresh blood. Soon “Audrey II” grows into an ill-tempered, fast talking, R&B-singing carnivore who offers him fame and fortune in exchange for feeding its growing appetite that won’t stop until it takes over the world! This show is sure to have you laughing, crying and screaming for more!

The tale of the household drudge who becomes a princess is wired into our very DNA and, along with our kids, we long to hear it over and over again. This year’s first summer musical is the version by the legendary Rodgers and Hammerstein, filled with romance, magic, spectacle, and unforgettable songs including “The Prince is Giving a Ball,” “In My Own Little Corner,” “Do I Love You Because You’re Beautiful?” and “Impossible,” to name just a few. This beloved Rogers and Hammerstein’s fairy tale is sure to be a hit with the whole family.

Annual November Original Performance: Broadway Our Way
Details coming in Summer 2013…Broadway Our Way and Beyond – A night with the award winning Chicagoland Ambassadors an elite competitive show choir comprised of talented teens from throughout the Chicago area. In 2012, they performed Broadway and Pop favorites such as Crazy About Your Baby, Stomp The Blues Away, and Feeling Good.
The Chicagoland Ambassadors were formed four years ago as an outgrowth of the Rising Stars Show Choir Workshops- a musical organization serving the southwest suburbs of Chicago. Their goal is to bridge the Chicago-area communities through music and mission. The ensemble features more than 50 performers, each of whom is involved in a wide variety of extra-curricular activities, in addition to their commitment to The Ambassadors. In November, the show choir will be featured in BROADWAY OUR WAY and BEYOND!- an annual benefit for The Community House of Hinsdale. The Ambassadors also compete in Manteno and El Paso, Il. Watch for dates this summer for the 2013 presentation of the show!

Young Performers Register
Kids will have their first chance to perform on stage. All children will attend weekly rehearsals to learn songs, dances and scenes. The class includes acting, games, singing, and dancing. Each child enrolled receives a part, a practice CD and a script for personal practice. Children will be directed by our highly-accredited instructors. NO AUDITION FOR THIS CLASS. There will be no class on March 26th. THE FINAL PERFORMANCE DATE IS MAY 15TH AT 6:00PM.

Performance Program Register
All children will have the opportunity to perform in a musical production on stage. Children rehearse weekly under the direction of our highly-accredited vocal, dance and drama instructors. The final performance includes original costumes and set design. Each child whom auditions will receive a part, a practice CD and a script for personal practice. First rehearsal is mandatory. There will be no class on March 26th. THE FINAL PERFORMANCE DATE IS MAY 16TH AT 7:00PM.
