A Message from the Executive Director – MLK Day
Martin Luther King Jr. Day is more important than we could ever imagine in many ways. Martin Luther King Day is a reminder to appreciate that we are one nation, one community of diverse people with unique gifts and talents. It also reminds us that when we come together to create positive change, we can build a brighter future that will be shaped and shared by all.
When honoring Dr. King’s legacy and leadership, it’s impossible not to recognize his power to heal and inspire. As we continue to navigate the COVID-19 pandemic, many of us are experiencing a deep need to connect and be together. Throughout our community which includes eight different neighboring areas, The Community House serves as a beacon of hope and healing. Not just a building but a second home where everyone is welcome and encouraged to engage in activities, classes, programs, and events which inspire them and fill their hearts with joy.
Joyful hearts are contagious and remind us to never lose infinite hope in brighter tomorrows, better days ahead and time spent together.
Dan Janowick, Executive Director
