Part-time Pilates/Barre Instructor

The Community House is looking for a motivated part-time Barre/Pilates instructor for Thursday evenings 7 – 8 pm. More hours available. Partners Program Community Social Worker

Reporting to the Director of TCH Mental Health Services and the Director of Willowbrook Corner, the Partners Program Social Worker be responsible for delivery of mental health and wellness services, with a focus on youth, families and individuals residing in the apartment complexes that make up the community of Willowbrook Corner.

Based in Hinsdale and serving the surrounding area, The Community House is a multi-service organization which provides recreation and cultural activities, counseling and therapeutic services focused on mental health and autism support, education support, and volunteer opportunities. The vision of TCH mental health services is to offer a range of direct counseling and therapy, as well as workshops, educational offerings and mindfulness resources to youth, families and seniors in southeastern DuPage County.

Willowbrook Corner is a vital outreach The Community House offering academic tutoring and social support to at risk youth and families in the Willowbrook Corner community.  The programs help students improve their educational performance,  practice positive decision making skills, and provides opportunities for community involvement.

The position is full time; Monday through Friday, with evening hours required 3 nights a week and attending occasional weekend events as needed.

Qualifications
Professional Education: Master’s Degree in Social Work or Counseling Psychology

Customer Support Representative

We are seeking a detail oriented Customer Support Representative to help staff our Registration Desk.

This is a Part-Time, Year Round position for 10 to 15 hours per week including evenings and weekends.  Scheduled hours will vary from week to week.  (We can work around a school schedule)

Under direct supervision you are responsible for answering phones, data entry, program registrations, cash handling, filing and other office duties.

Salary:  $10.00 per hour

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:  High School degree, ability to multitask, knowledge of general office practices, computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel).

After School Counselor – Hinsdale Location

Title: After School Counselor
Hours Per Week: Approximately 15-20 hours per week
Times: 2:30PM-6:15PM
Start/End Dates:   August 20th   – June 6th

Wages: Dependent on Qualifications

Description:  The person selected for this position will be under the direct supervision of the Recreation Supervisor and will be responsible for providing an appropriately safe, caring and enriching environment for the children enrolled in the After-School program. The counselor is responsible for conducting themselves in an appropriate manner, setting an example for children, parents and co- workers.

After School Counselor – Willowbrook Location

Times: 2:45PM-6:00PM (M-TH)  2:45PM-5:00PM (F)

Part-time Maintenance Staff

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail oriented person to assist us in our maintenance department.  This is a part-time, year round position.  Must be able to work 20 to 30 hours per week including evening and weekend hours.  Scheduled hours will vary from week to week.

Qualifications: A minimum high school degree and experience working in an environment requiring multitasking are required. Candidate must possess excellent communication skills, general knowledge of commercial facility cleaning and basic/moderate equipment  repair skills.

Under the direct supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor, this position is responsible for general to heavy cleaning, room setup/strike, painting, minor electrical and plumbing repairs and other duties as assigned. This position also offers support to management staff and program supervisors.

Salary:
$10-$12 per hour (based on qualifications)
