The Program Director is a key organizational leader responsible for maintaining excellence in the design and the execution of a comprehensive recreation plan for the communities we serve. A successful Program Director will enthusiastically lead the direction, planning, organization, implementation, evaluation and staffing of a Recreation Department and registration desk operations. Additionally, the Program Director will coordinate messaging, marketing, and branding with marketing staff and serve a key role on the Leadership Team establishing direction and priorities for the organization to achieve our mission.
Under the direction of Recreation Supervisor, Recreation Staff will be responsible for assisting with the Flag Football League Junior Basketball League.
Customer Support-Front Desk
Under the direction of the Office Manager, Customer Support is responsible for providing exceptional front line customer service to our constituents by forging strong connections. Customer Support is expected to effectively communicate knowledge of all TCH functions to our customers, particularly possessing a strong knowledge of our program offerings, to help The Community House remain a meaningful place to engage. Additionally, meaningful support is provided to administrative staff through a wide variety of administrative tasks.
Willowbrook Corner Program Counselor/Mentor
Under the supervision of the Site Director, responsible for providing an
appropriately safe, caring, and enriching environment for the children enrolled
in the After Care Youth Learning Program. Counselors/Mentors are responsible
for conducting themselves in an appropriate manner, setting an example for
children, parents, and co- workers.
Staff Therapist – Full Time and Part Time
The Community House is seeking an LCSW who is passionate about helping people heal and reach their full potential through providing counseling services, with a specific focus on adolescent mental health care and community engagement.
Before/After the Bell Site Director
The Community House Before & After the Bell program is seeking experienced and qualified team members. All members of our team must have experience working with children and have an enthusiastic and positive attitude. Qualified team members will be able to implement the program curriculum which includes enrichment courses, homework help, and group activities.
The Community House is seeking to hire a Part-time Maintenance Worker position to our team. This position involves manual and some semi-skilled maintenance work of the interior and exterior of the building. Work may include cleaning restrooms, mopping, sweeping, trash removal, securing the building, room set-ups and break downs, including AV equipment, painting, minor repair, and maintenance of equipment, and ensuring that the interior and exterior of the building is presentable at all times.
Fall Recreation Staff- Athletics
Recreation Staff will be responsible for assisting with the Flag Football League Junior Basketball League.Duties will include but not limited to, monitoring the flag football fields/games, and running the scoreboard for basketball games.
Flag Football Duties: Set up/ take down flag football fields, assist refs, coaches and participants as needed, record final scores of each game, and be the role who acts on situations during the flag football games.
Basketball Duties: Run the scoreboard for each game, assist coaches, participants and refs as needed, and be the role who acts on situations during the basketball games.
